Beaches of Strymonikos Gulf!

In the village of Asprovalta :

The beach at Asprovalta has length of 7km is a fully organized beach with crystal water and beautiful sandy beach! Also every summer is held the Greek women and men beach volley Championship!

In the village of Olympiada :

In the area between the villages of Olympiada and Ierissos there are two gorgeous beaches: the First beach (Proti Paralia) and the Vina beach. Both beaches are unorganized, hidden inside small bature gulfs have beautiful crystal water and sandy beaches!

In the village of Olympiada travelers there is a great scenic beach, which is ideal fro families! Having as view the uninhabited Karpos Island, the scenery of this peaceful sandy beach in the village of Olympiada is completed with a stone paved sidewalk, an old berth that is located in the middle of the beach and a small anchorage where local fishermen put their fishing boats.

In the village of Stavros :

Milies beach on the right end of Stavros, as you head to Olympiada village. Milies beach is an organized beach with beach bars, some restaurants, and of course with the presence of lifeguards, has length of 2 km and stands beautifully on the foot of Cholomonta Mountain! Milies beach at Stavros has swallow water and the gold sand!

Platania beach is a unique beach that is located right at the end of the village at the exit to Olympiada village. Platania beach offers except from many sporting facilities like volleyball and basketball fields, children playground and of course beach bars offers its incredible dew to visitors due to numerous age-old plane trees! Platania beach at Stavros is definitely a great beach that worth a visit!

Rihios beach is located at the entrance of the village as you are coming from Thessaloniki. The beach is named after Rihios River that flows at Strymonikos Gulf in this area, has at about 1 km length. It is a great sandy beach that offers in some points facilities like beach bars.

In the village of Nea Vrasna :

Vrasna beach has 3 km length and is ideal for sea sports, due to the big waves that this beach usually has. We could say that is the favorite beach of the surfers! Of course the beach is protected by lifeguards.

Nea Vrasna beach is an organized beach with 4 km length where travelers should be very careful of one specific characteristic of this beach…Nea Vrasna beach has extremely deep water just one step from the seaside!
